Before we start, just a quick note to the spelling of ‘status’ vs ‘statuses’. “Statuses” is actually wrong. The correct plural version of ‘status’ is ‘status’ because it is based on the Lation u-declinated term “status”. The plural of u-declinated Latin words is just the same, only that you pronounce the last vocal longer, something like “statuus”.
Status have two functions in IzzitUp. They describe the
- status of a Service
- progress of en Event
Each status can therefore be marked as being applicable to a Service, to an Event or to both.
Whether status are editable or addable by Editors depends on what permissions the administrator has given to the Editor role.
Service Status
The following default status are available and applicable to Services.
Status | Description |

Operational | The Service is operational |
Impaired | The Service is operational with impairments |
Outage | The Service is down |
Closed | A closed or archived service |
Event Status
The following default status are available and applicable to Events.
Status | Description |

To Do | An activitiy in its planning phase |
Scheduled | A scheduled activitiy with a planned start and end |
In Progress | An ongoing activitiy with an actual start |
Done | A completed activitiy with an actual start and actual end |
Closed | A closed or archived activitiy |
