Bootstrap Color Styles
Bootstrap provides eight named color styles. Not all of them are available for all but for most elements. They define the text and the background color. Since the style parameter is applicable to most shortcodes of this plugin, here is an overview for your orientation.
Bootstrap 5 slightly changed the exact color values, however, they look nearly the same.

Hey there, I tried to use the field to select a #Hex colour for the background it it doesn’t work. Is there a further selection I need to do, to override the above colours selections with that #Hex
Hi Mikael,
the plugin provides the default Bootstrap colors and that are these eight colors identified by a name. There is no option (yet) to specify a #hex color outside the Bootstrap defaults.
Best regards,
George

Hi!
It would be extremely helpful if both the text and background colors could be configured by the user. That way we could adapt your wonderful macro’s to match our company style guide. Without this option many macro’s cannot be used.
Hi Edwin
maybe you can submit a feature request at my service desk (https://georgelewe.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/5) and provide a bit more details, e.g. which macro you are referring to.
Best regards
George
